Director’s Reflections

Looking back on this past year, once again I see and feel the grace and provision of a loving God. We have been privileged to be a part of a ministry that affects the lives of so many people of all ages.

As I near the end of my time as the Director of Covenant Heights, my fondest memories will be of all the campers, retreaters, summer staff and full-time staff members that have walked these blessed camp grounds. While we serve in a blessed mountain area and have seen God provide exciting new features to this camp, it is the people, both campers and staff that define what Covenant Heights is all about.

Knowing lives have been changed and affected for good, will always be the best that God has given us.

I have been grateful for all the volunteers who have come along side and made this camp a better place to minister to campers. They have sacrificed time and resources to improve the facilities that better accommodate and serve folks of all ages. As camp looks to the future with the provision of the new Activity Center, it is my prayer that our faithful friends and supporters will embrace our new Executive Director, Scott Shaw, and make him feel as blessed and encouraged as you have made me feel over the past 19 years.

May God bless you for your part in this ministry and bless Covenant Heights for many years to come.

Tom Cousineau
executive director
